The NHL Playoffs march on!

We're only four days into the NHL postseason and it's already been a one for the ages with storylines across the league and nonstop action in every game. Six out of the eight first round series are all tied up at 1-1.

Friday night will feature the first set of Game 3s, including one team that can take a demanding 3-0 lead. That team is the Carolina Hurricanes, but despite the series lead, things are looking bleak for the 'Canes. They caught the injury bug at the worst time possible and have now added Tuevo Teravainen to the injury list.

He joins the likes of Andrei Svechnikov and possibly Jordan Staal (questionable) who won't be playing tonight. Carolina's offense is now thin as they try to not allow the Islanders back in the series.

New York is a home favorite tonight to grab its first win of the opening round.

The second game of the night is Game 3 of a series that not many people expected to be tied. The top team in the regular season, the Boston Bruins, head to Florida to take on the Panthers with it all locked up at 1-1.

The Panthers dominated Game 2, winning by a final score of 6-3. A Game 3 win would have the Bruins on their heels, potentially falling to the Presidents Trophy curse. With that being said, Bruins are favorites to take the 2-1 series lead.

Western Conference action starts at 9:30 p.m. EST when the Dallas Stars take on the Minnesota Wild.

The Stars have dominated on the powerplay this series, but the Wild have managed to keep things close when playing at even strength. The story of the night tonight will be Minnesota likely going back to Filip Gustavsson in net after Marc-Andre Fleury imploded for them in Game 2.

The odds for the game are set as a coin flip.

The final game of the night is a Pacific Division matchup between the Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings. The Kings stole game one, but the Oilers came storming back in Game 3 and have largely dominated from an analytics perspective through the first two games.

With the series moving to Los Angeles, the Kings will try to take advantage of home ice advantage. Even with that being the case, they're still underdogs in Game 3.
