It's the final day NHL games before the league heads into the All-Star break. NHL will return to action on Monday, February 6th.

So, if you want to bet on hockey this week, now is your final chance to do that.

There are only two games on the slate, with both scheduled to begin at 7:30pm et.

The first one is an Eastern Conference showdown between the Carolina Hurricanes and Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres are sitting one point back from the Pittsburgh Penguins for the final spot in the postseason, but now they have to face the top team in the Metropolitan. The Hurricanes have a six-point lead on the Devils in the division, and they're seven points back from the Boston Bruins for the top spot in the Conference.

The Hurricanes are rightfully sizable favorites tonight.

The other game tonight will be an Atlantic Division battle between the Boston Bruins and the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Bruins hold the top spot in the Division, and the Maple Leafs are sitting 11 points behind them.

Toronto can take a step forward towards catching them with a win tonight.

Boston is set as a small favorite.
