In the NFL power rankings for Week 14, the Las Vegas Raiders start rising while the Miami Dolphins tumble after an ugly loss.

Houston Texans. 32. team. 10. . 1-10-1. Previous:

Tough to see Houston winning more than maybe one game the rest of the way.

45. . 3-9. Previous: . Denver Broncos. 31. team

The Broncos couldn’t muster a single touchdown against the Ravens. An utter disgrace.

team. 57. . 3-10. Previous: . Chicago Bears. 30

Justin Fields is a ton of fun. The rest of the Bears? Not so much. Ugly football.

3-9. Previous: . Los Angeles Rams. 29. team. 51.

The Rams have put together the worst championship defense in NFL history. It’s impressively horrific.

Carolina Panthers. 28. team. 87. . 4-8. Previous:

Carolina cut Baker Mayfield on Monday, which pretty much sums up how its season has gone.

Arizona Cardinals. 27. team. 32. . 4-8. Previous:

At least this week we didn’t have another story about how Kyler Murray and Kliff Kingsbury can’t stand each other.

Previous: . New Orleans Saints. 26. team. 15. . 4-9

The Saints were supposed to contend for a playoff spot. Not going to happen.

4-8-1. Previous: . Indianapolis Colts. 25. team. 46.

It’s always good to give up a 50-burger in primetime, especially when 34 of the points come in one quarter.

Jacksonville Jaguars. 24. team. 52. . 4-8. Previous:

Jacksonville isn’t good, and now Trevor Lawrence is dealing with an ankle injury. Another tough season for the Jaguars.

Atlanta Falcons. 23. team. 44. . 5-8. Previous:

If the Falcons had any shot of claiming the miserable NFC South, they needed to beat Pittsburgh at home. Didn’t happen.

55. . 5-7. Previous: . Pittsburgh Steelers. 22. team

The Steelers are somewhat 5-7 and play the Ravens twice, who are currently without Lamar Jackson under center. Late run?

28. . 5-7. Previous: . Las Vegas Raiders. 21. team

Three straight wins for the Silver and Black, and they get the Rams on Thursday night. The Raiders are making a push.

20. team. 53. . 5-7. Previous: . Cleveland Browns

Cleveland has Deshaun Watson back, and while he was terrible against Houston, the Browns notched three non-offensive scores to win.

. 5-8. Previous: . Green Bay Packers. 19. team. 49

Aaron Rodgers has seen this season turn into a nightmare, but he still owns the Bears.

5-7. Previous: . Detroit Lions. 18. team. 50.

The Lions torched the Jaguars, continuing their run of improved play. Likely too late to make the playoffs, but at least progress.

. 6-6. Previous: . New England Patriots. 17. team. 47

The offense simply doesn’t challenge opponents, and the defense isn’t good enough to win on its own.

. 6-6. Previous: . Los Angeles Chargers. 16. team. 13

The Chargers constantly find themselves dealing with the exact same problems. The first issue? Coaching.

Previous: . Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 15. team. 48. . 6-6

The Buccaneers somehow keep coming alive at the end of games. Tom Brady is still Tom Brady.

team. 30. . 7-5. Previous: . New York Jets. 14

The Jets have more punch with Mike White, but will it be enough to get them into the playoffs?

team. 36. . 7-5. Previous: . Seattle Seahawks. 13

Seattle has to start playing better, but it did enough to get past the skeleton crew we saw from the Rams on Sunday.

. 7-5-1. Previous: . Washington Commanders. 12. team. 58

Washington should be happy with a tie against the Giants. It means the Commanders can clinch a very important tiebreaker by winning at home.

35. . 8-5. Previous: . Tennessee Titans. 11. team

Tennessee was blown out by Philadelphia, largely because Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown were dominant throughout.

10. team. 31. . 8-4-1. Previous: . New York Giants

The Giants need to handle business against the Commanders in two weeks, or they’ll be in very tough position.

Baltimore Ravens. 9. team. 26. . 8-4. Previous:

Depending on how long Lamar Jackson is out, the Ravens could suddenly be in freefall.

8. team. 42. . 8-4. Previous: . San Francisco 49ers

The Niners had an impressive win but fell because Jimmy Garoppolo is out for the season. Now everything rests on Brock Purdy.

7. team. 60. . 10-2. Previous: . Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota doesn’t move up for almost blowing another late lead. The Vikings are finding a way, but the games are constantly bizarre.

59. . 8-4. Previous: . Miami Dolphins. 6. team

Miami has to be concerned that whenever it plays against a good defense, it struggles to score.

5. team. 56. . 8-4. Previous: . Cincinnati Bengals

Huge win for the Bengals, who have full ownership of the Chiefs. Three straight over Patrick Mahomes and Co.

123. . 9-3. Previous: . Dallas Cowboys. 4. team

Dallas hung 54 points on the Colts, and the Cowboys continue to look every bit the Super Bowl contender.

team. 16. . 9-3. Previous: . Buffalo Bills. 3

Buffalo now has the AFC’s top seed, but might need to run the table in order to hold on. Can the Bills do it against a tough slate?

team. 124. . 9-3. Previous: . Kansas City Chiefs. 2

Kansas City only drops one spot for losing to a quality opponent on the road. The bigger concern has to be Cincinnati climbing directly into the Chiefs’ collective skull.

54. . 11-1. Previous: . Philadelphia Eagles. 1. team

Best team in football, most ways to win.
