College GameDay was in frigid Bozeman, Montana on Saturday and Kirk Herbstreit’s outfit to endure the cold got him absolutely roasted by fans.

In the week before rivalry week, College GameDay has a tendency to try and show love to smaller schools by visiting their campuses on Saturday morning. Such was the case this week as ESPN set out for Bozeman, MT for a rivalry clash between Montana and Montana State. But the real story was the weather conditions.

At the start of the broadcast, the temperature was slightly below zero and stayed around there throughout the show. That’s cold for anyone, but it’s even more so for the hosts on GameDay stuck up on the set. That led to everyone doing their best to dress and stay warm. Kirk Herbstreit’s attempt at doing so, however, drew more attention than anything.

Dressed in shades of brown and green while donning some sort of fedora-like hat (I’m not going to pretend to be a headwear expert), Herbstreit was impossible to look away from.

Needless to say, college football fans pounced quickly to troll Herbie for his cold-weather digs.

In all honesty, it’s not even that bad of a look for Herbstreit. It is, however, a stark contrast from his normal suit-and-tie look that we see him rocking on GameDay, which is probably why his fashion choices were the target of the social media trolling on Saturday morning.

But hey, what better way to start out a relatively mundane day of college football than by getting some laughs in and get the day rolling?

Let’s hope Herbie chooses the right Grail on Saturday before he heads into the broadcast booth, though.
