College GameDay was at Georgia vs Tennessee for the huge SEC matchup and Dawgs fans were savage with the GameDay signs aimed at the Vols.

No. 3 hosting No. 1 and with the SEC involved so, you know, it just means more. That’s all of the stage that you’d ever need to set for Sanford Stadium ahead of the Georgia Bulldogs welcoming the top-ranked Tennessee Volunteers for a battle of undefeated teams and to determine perhaps the clearest path to the College Football Playoff.

Of course, this was always where ESPN was going to send College GameDay on Saturday, Nov. 5, and that was only made better by the fact that there is no love lost between these SEC East rivals when it comes to the football field.

There has been trash-talking all week between the two fan bases, both in real life and online, whether that’s message boards, social media or something in between. And that carried over to Athens with the GameDay signs

Georgia fans undoubtedly didn’t have a problem unleashing some of their more savage and brutal burns with the GameDay signs they had ready for the Vols.

And then there was at least one fan who, for whatever reason, was already campaigning for GameDay to head to Illinois next week — because why not?

One fan, however, might’ve been a bit confused about what all these people in Athens were gathered for, somehow.

This might be blasphemous, but the show that the Dawgs and Vols are set to put on at Sanford Stadium come 3:30 p.m. ET is better than any stop on The Eras Tour will be (sorry ’bout it, Swifties).
